So here I am writing back in my blog, as it has become increasingly annoying to neglect. I promise I will write about the Pacquiao-Hatton bout, as well as certain (unfortunate) occurences in this year's playoffs. It's not that serious(let's just say my teams haven't done so well.) But yeah, I do have a lot to say about them, it just so happens that I'm not inspired to write about them at the moment [like I was the day after it happened.]
But I am inspired to write about something else. And this blog is about writing about what's on my mind right?
Anyways, I was reading my previous blog posts, and I don't know what I was thinking. This is certainly not the direction I wanted to go in. Enough of that sappy stuff. I keep finding myself talking about "love" and hardships and blah blah blah. Yeah love is[IMO] one of the most important things in life. But, these things take time. As Sam Spade would say,"I won't play the sap for you." PROPS to MCGOVERN for showin' me that book-"The Maltese Falcon"[coincidentally my favorite hardboiled detective fiction.] So in the meantime, I'm just enjoyin' life, ya know?... enjoyin' the ride.
Speaking of rides! I want to get out on the open road and just... have an adventure. Do something worth remembering. Drive up all the way to Anchorage, Alaska. Why Alaska? Because that's where adventures go to die I suppose, and I want to see it all: the countryside, the bars, the desert sunrise/set,, the REAL night-time sky outside of the suburbs and strip- malls, the small towns where nobody knows me, the reserved people- I don't know, whatever there is to see I guess. I'd like to think I'd be doing that...alone with my thoughts. Maybe I could get a motorcycle.
Man, I'm full of it. I probably won't drive to Alaska. I will probably stay in my house, and think about it a lot. Sitting, Waiting, Wishing(hah...like the song!) But maybe, just maybe I'll send ya a postcard[ if you want one] and tell ya about how I picked up a hitch-hiker that didn't have a lot of luggage, who just happened to be around 5 feet 5 inches, and was coincidentally half-asian, with long-ish brown hair. And maybe how I was generous to this hypothetical stranger, and offered to buy them a cup of coffee; and how she said,"Yeah. That'd be Real Nice."
...Too bad it's not considered safe to hitch-hike anymore, or even pick one up...Oh well...
Thumbs out. Alaska will always be there.

We need some savin, to help prevent our hearts from breakin
Okay, quick post since I've got a bunch of reading to do. I meant to post earlier bout the Hatton-Pacquiao fight as well as Game 7 of the Celtics-Bulls series. But i will have to do so in another post because i have A LOT to say about this past weekend in terms of sports and history. Anyways...
Note:Listening to "Where we gonna go from here" by Matt Kearney
and wanted to share this. I suggest enjoying the song whilst enjoying this snippet:
"HOW TO: INSTALL LOVE."
Tech Support: Hello … how can I help you?
Customer: Well, after much consideration, I’ve decided to install
Love. Can you guide me through the process?
Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?
Customer: Well, I’m not very technical, but I think I’m ready. What do I do first?
Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you
located your Heart?
Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now.
Is it okay to install Love while they are running?
Tech Support: What programs are running ?
Customer: Let’s see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge
and Resentment running right now.
Tech Support: No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt
from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent
memory but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will
eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High
Self-Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and
Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed.
Can you turn those off ?
Customer: I don’t know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?
Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke
Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and
Resentment have been completely erased.
Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that
normal?
Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base
program. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get
the upgrades.
Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, “Error
- Program not run on external components.” What should I do?
Tech Support: Don’t worry. It means that the Love program is set
up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In
non-technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before
you can Love others.
Customer: So, what should I do?
Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the
following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your
Limitations.
Customer: Okay, done.
Tech Support: Now, copy them to the “My Heart” directory. The
system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty
programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all
directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely
gone and never comes back.
Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files.
Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying
themselves all over My Heart. Is this normal?
Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but
eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed
and running. One more thing before we hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure
to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in
turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.
Customer: Thank you, God.
Soo...yea i know cheesy and whatnot but i didn't strictly read it as love between a couple, more as a love for all things and just letting "love," in general, into your heart and into your life. I know that some people have been a little annoyed as of late and reading this kinda brought me to feel content and at peace...hopefully it does for you all as well.
WORD UP!!
