"So Baby Don't Worry"...Goodbye 2009, Thanks for the Memories Pt.2

This is probably the best way to sum up 2009...with a "feel good" mashup of some supersongs and an optimistic look at the year ahead. I will always remember you, 2009. Thank You!

So as I worry about the future ahead, I turn my worries to God. As I put my faith in Him, I pray that I may stay on the path of righteousness. I pray to God to show me His way; that what He wills is what I want because He knows what is truly best for me.

Amen

CHOICE: "Life is a box of chocolates, Forrest. You never know what you're gonna get."

Life is nothing, really, until you add the meaning. All of us will float through a lifetime, only some of us will be fulfilled by the journey. We'll do that by pursuing passions, developing interests, and honoring the vitality and time we've been given. Choose the life you want.

This is the dilemma on my mind at the moment. Graduation is nearing and I have narrowed it down to 3 options. [Aren't ya proud of me?!] Move to San Jose and try to get into the police academy there, go to Grad school [least favorable but most practical], and lastly, and more recently I have been leaning towards going into the service and enlisting. I feel that if I never do this, I will forever regret it. I have talked with my mom and have yet to talk to my father. Decision time is closing in. Someone once said, "Who you are defines what you do." With that said, I think I know what life I wanna live.

"Jenny, I don't know if Momma was right or if it's Lieutenant Dan. I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze. but I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time."

2009...2010 pt.1

2010 already. Well, almost.

Well, what can I say about 2009. I think for the most part, I've been reading and hearing about everyone's year and how crappy it was and even how people couldn't wait for the year to end; but to be honest, 2009 has been so good to me. That is an understatement. It has been great. So much so, that I'm almost sad to see it go or even let it go...but what can I do. Time doesn't wait for anyone.

So as the new year approaches and this year- and decade- come to an end, what can I take away from this portion of my life? Well, 2009 was the perfect example of a year that reflects my whole decade. It was a time of growth, learning[not only of people and life lessons, but the learning of who I was, as a person], overcoming adversity, deaths and births, and anything else one could think of.

And yet, all of these vital things and important events in my life seem so miniscule compared to one person who recently came into my life. And I know what your thinking, maybe a year ago it may have been my grandfather or even Tia, but of those two, none have meant as much to me in such a short period of time, nor have I taken away any lessons from our experiences so quickly. This is a BIG statement. I know it is. Maybe I'm just saying it because that is how passionately I feel at the moment; but Anna has FOREVER changed my life and given me faith and hope when I needed it. And though I have only known her for a couple months, she brings out the best in me. She makes me wanna be a better man, a better person. And inspires me to "do good" in this world full of tragedy. She inspires me to look for the good in people and in situations, though she is a pessimist herself. How did she do all this? I don't even know... I'm not even sure she knows what effect she has on me. She insists that she is a simple girl...sure she is. But for me, Anna is something, or rather someone very VERY special.

She will always be the girl that got away. The girl that, I feel, I deserved...

Sweet, simple Anna. I will never forget our shared moments together. Or how amazing it felt making you laugh and smile. How of all the SIGNIFICANT people that I have let come and go in my life, I didn't want that to happen with you.

How I wanted to be the one who helped restore your faith in love...

...even though I knew how strongly you believed love did not exist...and that this view was completely unshakable. Yet you are an unrelenting believer in God and probably the most religious person I have ever met.

She broke my heart, but I am not bitter. I think that speaks for itself on how highly I think of her.

Regardless, the most important thing she has given me is hope. Knowing that someone like Anna is out there in this world restores my faith in humanity and restores my faith that my other half is still out there.

Anna, Jay Sean's-"Down" will always be your song... =]

"So baby dont worry, you are my only,
You wont be lonely, even if the sky is falling down,
Youll be my only, no need to worry...

How bout some music to fall asleep to...

I thank the show, "FlashForward" for playing this song during a segment and captivating my ears!

In other news, some Halloween Costume ideas:
Dr. Acula
Dress like a doctor (scrubs, stethoscope, etc.). Wear fangs. Add a name tag that says Dr. Acula.

The Hulk
Wear your normal clothes. When someone asks what you are, tell them you're The Hulk....but, you're just not angry right now.

...or maybe ill just go out with my spiderman mask and web shooters that shoot silly string!

or not.

It's Official...

Dia Frampton, ladies and gentlemen, has dethroned Hayley Williams. I never thought I'd see the day where Hayley Williams would get dethroned. That is why, I've decided to retire the "Hayley vs. Dia" installments- even though I've had some great ideas for comparisons- and uhh pretty much why there's only been 1 installment. Anyways, I'm a dork. But it got me to thinking about change, and how I've grown and how much I've changed in the past year. And in lieu of my 21st birthday, I thought it to be an appropriate reflection of what's going on in my life.

The past 2 weeks of my life have been nothing short of...."mindblasting"?? Let's just say it was the best time of my life. And I really REALLY mean that. I saw potential. I saw what my life could be like. I saw the opportunities FLOCKING to me. I saw happiness. I saw uncertainty. And for the first real time in my life, I wasn't afraid of it. I wasn't afraid of change. I welcomed it; embraced it. For the first time in my life, I'm very excited for what the future holds. And that, in itself, shows me how much I've grown and matured in the past year.

Taking risks...

Taking chances...

Meeting life-changing people...

...It's about time...

(this video not only represents my change of taste, growth and maturity, but is also meant to showcase Dia's cuteness. lol) Until next time guys...
